Tom Lavallee’s Race Across America Fundraiser

Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD

June 15, 2011

The Race Across America (RAAM) is tagged as the World’s Toughest Bicycle Race! It is also recognized as the world’s top endurance bicycle race.  This year’s race, the 30th annual, started on the West coast in Oceanside, CA and finished 3000 miles away in Annapolis, MD.

Tom raced on behalf of  Children of Fallen Patriots and raised over $70,000 for the foundation.

2011 Inaugural Kids Helping Kids Benefit

The first annual Kids Helping Kids Benefit was held by the Briarwood Children’s Project in support of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.  The event featured an exciting raffle and silent auction, along with great food and entertainment. A sincere thank you to Evan Stein of the Briarwood Children’s Project and Angela Kahler of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation for their hard work in making this event a resounding success.

2010 Greenwich Event

The 2010 Greenwich Event was held Veterans Day weekend and hosted by Medal of Honor winner and CFPF Board Member Colonel Jack Jacobs.  The CFPF Patriot Award was presented to Army Chief of Staff General George W. Casey Jr.

2010 Race Across the West

Oceanside, CA – Taos, NM

June 16, 2010

In the men’s solo field of the 2010 RAW, Thomas Lavallee, representing Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, beat out the competition while racing to a new course record. Lavallee finished the race with a time of 2d11h51m (14.33 mph).

RAW runs concurrently with the Race Across America. RAW racers start in Oceanside, California the same day as the RAAM solo racers.

Security Traders Association of Florida 2010 Annual Conference

February 18 – 20, 2010

Security Traders Association of Florida 2010 Annual Conference was held at the luxurious The Palms Hotel and Spa in beautiful Miami Beach. Proceeds from their gala dinner benefitted the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
