Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! It means incredible amounts to me that you guys are helping me financially get through school. You have no idea how much this means to me.But this is one a deeper level to me than financial support. Although I am extremely grateful for the financial support, it’s immensely uplifting and encouraging to know that there are people out there who understand and care and are willing to help students like me. God bless you all, and I am forever grateful for you.
—Sarah

You, and the entire organization, are just an amazing blessing!
—Kathryn (mom)

My daughter got her first birthday gift from your organization and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It is so special that you look out for the children of the fallen.
—Angela

I would just like to thank you and your organization so much for helping me with my tuition. I am so appreciative that you all care so much about the children of our country’s heroes. I can’t thank you enough for your help but know that I am so grateful for everything.
—Miranda

What you and David have accomplished is absolutely amazing. I cried through the whole [event] and cried again on Sunday when I was recounting the night to my 92-year-old daddy. I shall continue to pray that God will pour out his blessings on you and your foundation.
—An athlete and attendee of our 2010 Atlanta fundraiser event

—Zack, West Point cadet

Although the pain of our loss will always be, we cannot keep looking behind us and wishing for the times that were. It will never be as it was. We have to keep our hearts going forward. Thank God college is now in the picture for our daughter.
—Linnie (Husband killed in Iraq)

I am so happy you all were able to give me the things I need for school. I really appreciate it. Once again,

I just received a letter in the mail from you. I’m so grateful for your foundation, it takes so much pressure off of me, especially when I’ll have 3 children in College at the same time!
—Darla

I have felt both amazed and incredibly grateful for your generosity. Education has always been the highest priority in my family, and I attribute much of my character and successes to that pervasive focus. It makes me very happy to know that your foundation is working hard and is providing the necessary resources to promote a focus on education for my family and other families like mine.
—Timothy

I just graduated. Thank you so much. CFPF really helped!
—Savannah

Thank you so much for the grant for college. I will do my best to earn good grades and learn as much as I can. I will try to accomplish these tasks not only to make you proud, but also so that one day I will be able to give back and help others in need.
—Nick

Thank you to CFP for their help, it came just when we needed! You ALL are certainly a blessing to our family & I’m sure that Mike would thank you, too from the bottom of his heart for helping to take care of his family in his absence.
—Audrey

I think Children of Fallen Patriots is a marvelous organization. Reaching out to help bereaved children is a heartwarming and magnificent thing to do. Thank you for providing us a means to help the children who have suffered a great loss.
—Margaret

It has been a rewarding and heartfelt experience to be able to tell students about your foundation. I wished you could have witnessed the excitement and relief in the eyes of the student and mother when I told them about you.
—Jackie (College Accountant)

I cannot put in words how thankful I am for your support. I’m very thankful in knowing that you care.
—Darby

I always believe where one door closes, God allows another one to open. When my son passed away, I was afraid that our granddaughter would not continue school. She was devastated. So to see her cross that stage was one of the happiest moments in my life. Now being a teacher is once more in her future.
—Mary (Son killed in Afghanistan)

Words can never thank you enough for the help [for] Calder’s books, her ticket home for Christmas break (yay!), and for the new combat boots she needed. She was so glad to have the new regulation green suede and I am glad she got them before the snow came! Nick is enjoying his classes this year… Thanks to you, he was able to take a full load… Thank you for being the kind of blessed people my children can look up to, and for being angels who keep God’s promises.
—Nicole, a mom

Fallen Patriots understand that our husbands died for their country. They look back and they honor them. I believe them helping our children in the highest honor we could ask for. I know my husband would be proud of that and forever grateful.
—Beverly (Husband killed in training accident)

Before I received the scholarship my schedule was school, work, school, work, school, work. Now [that] I don’t have to worry about my tuition costs, I can focus on school and don’t have to spend hours on my feet working… My grades have gone up dramatically!
—Dennis (Father killed in Afghanistan)

I know my dad is inside of me pushing me to achieve all the goals that he knew that I could achieve.
—Matthew (Father killed in training accident)

This is the type of blessing that for the first time in a long time gives me hope for my financial situation. Ali, Mike and I are all amazed at what people have committed to doing for us and families like us. Tim, my husband that died, would be so happy knowing we are being helped.
—Karen

We wouldn’t know what to do without your kindness toward our family. My husband was a very smart man and I know that he looks down on our daughter with great pride in her determination to learn.
—Michelle (Husband killed in Iraq)

You made my day–and probably my next four years–when you said you could help us with our son’s college expenses. I wasn’t sure we were going to be able to achieve the college degree that was his dad’s desire. You are our guardian angel, our hero.
—Christina (Husband killed in Iraq)

It is overwhelming and wonderful that there are people out there willing to help my children. I am hoping that with as much help as they are getting, someday they will return the help to others that need it.
—Elizabeth (Husband killed in action)

This organization made is possible for me. I’m no on special. But they make me feel really really special.
—Danny (Father killed in Iraq)

The generosity of the donors is heartfelt. Thank you.
—Karen

Thank you so much for the kindness this organization has shown towards my son’s first year in college. Due to the kindness of so many, my son is starting off on the right foot. Currently is pulling off A’s and B’s in projects and classes… Hopefully this will continue with support of charities like this one and the love and support of family and friends. Again, blessings to all involved. Forever thankful.
—The Bourdon Family

Thank you for the grant money for Sarah’s education at Appalachian State. We wouldn’t know what we would do without your kindness towards our family. Her father was a very smart man and I know that he looks down upon her with great pride in her determination to learn.
—Michelle

Please accept our sincere gratitude in helping us cover the cost of Maria’s fall 2008 tuition. Please thank everyone involved for us. It has been a stress-free, worry-free transition for Maria. I am at ease talking with her, as she integrates into college life. I have not had to worry about her fall financial obligation. Maria is one of the hardest working young persons I know. She will not take advantage of this opportunity that has been given to her. I’ve enclosed a picture of Maria along with her fall schedule. Currently, she’s involved with the Rangers Club, Path Finders and Color Guard. She told me last week the Purdue and school is ‘everything I thought it would be!’
—Parent

On behalf of Savannnah and the rest of our family, I want to say thank you to you and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation for your untiring work and generosity in helping to finance Savannah’s undergraduate years at the University of Iowa. In July Savannah got married and moved to Chicago where she has begun graduate school in Art History at the U-Illinois at Chicago and where Fred is employed in Continuing Education. It is so reassuring to see Savannah and Fred confidently step into this new chapter of their lives, and we are truly appreciative of what CFPF did to ease the financial burdens of Savannah’s education. There are hardly words big enough to express our thanks.
—Olivia and Nathan

I believe the manner in which your charity provides hope and optimism for children who struggle to survive having lost a parent from the turmoil of war is commendable.  May the generosity of your hearts continue to provide hundreds of alternatives, thousands of paths, and infinite number of dreams.
—Calvin

Thank you for the encouragement and for the huge help for the kids!  Nick was inducted into the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society last semester.  By taking the money stress off of the kids, they are able to study more effectively. So please take some of the credit for the good grades!
—Nicole, a mom

What your group is doing for Elizabeth is amazing. She is overcome with emotion. There is no way for me to express my gratitude.
—Pamela, a mom

I am a widow and love you all for all you do for our children. I am requesting a bumber sticker to raise awareness of your organization and am so thankful for you.
—Miranda, a mom

Thank you so much for the help. I appreciate it more than words can express and I’m sure my dad does too. Obviously, I’d much rather have him here…under the circumstances I’m happy that you and your foundation have entered my life. Hopefully one day I can give back and help others the way you have me and my family. Thank you again. :)
—Stephanie

Thank you so very much for your beyond generous donation toward my ’10-’11 year at Davidson College! Thanks to your help, I am able to attend this year debt free! I am also another year closer to granting my father’s biggest hope for me, attaining a bachelor’s degree! In addition to your contribution, your kindness, patience, and understanding is still so very much appreciated! I was under a time crunch, and you worked hard to help me meet it, and the last bit of tuition I needed covered! Thanks to these types of organizations future generations can experience the gift of education without burdening Gold Star families even more! My graditude is Infinite! Thank you again!
—Dalia

I so admire your organization. I grew up in a very military oriented family and I have always felt that this group of Americans has been sorely undervalued for many years. You really help to make a difference!!
—Debbie

I really do think you both are extremely giving, wonderful people for what you do. Without the support you have given us, both financially and emotionally, (you are so wonderful to Kenzi…. Thank you so much for becoming her FRIEND) I really don’t know how we would have made their college dreams a reality. Thank you seems so small in comparison to what you have done but please accept my most sincere gratitude. My prayer is that God will continue to bless you everyday. Many Blessings.
—Tanya, a mom

I thank God every day for you, your friends and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. It’s just amazing. Love, hugs and prayers.
—Lynn, mother of a fallen patriot

I have everything I need for school now and I will do my best to continue to earn good grades… Your kind gift is not only helping me, but also my little brothers. They are motivated to get good grades now since they have seen what they can bring.
—Nicholas

I would like to give my appreciation to the Children of Fallen Patriots foundation for helping me out through my college experience. If it hadn’t been for them and their support, I wouldn’t have gone to college. I am a first generation college student, and I come from a family that wasn’t able to pay for my college so I was very worried about how I was going to be able pay for an education. Then this amazing foundation came into my life and helped take some of the worries away. This foundation has been more than helpful to me along this process and I don’t know what I would’ve done if it weren’t for them. My father, who gave his life for this country, would be so blessed to know that there is a foundation out there like this one that helped put his baby girl through college! I am about to receive my undergrad in psychology, and getting ready to start Grad school in the fall, and I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for you guys. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me!
—Alyssa

The help of your organization has lifted our morale more than I can ever express. My kids never ask me for anything because money has been so tight, and so the help with school and new computers is huge to them. We hope to pay it forward, with thanks to God, and with you in our hearts as such a loving example.
—Nicole

As the aunt of two children you have sponsored, I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to know that there are people out there like you who have opened their hearts and lives to support them. Thank you so much for all you have given them…both monetarily and emotionally. You have restored their faith and mine that their is goodness in the world! God Bless!
—Dawn

You have been SUCH an unbelievable blessing to my family and I. I cannot thank you enough times for what you’ve done. Thank you so much!
—Sarah

Thank you for being a reminder that whatever happens on a daily basis, God is there to love her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful computer and for the love and support we feel from you.
