Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation received the 2022 Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award on November 14 during a ceremony at the Pentagon. The ceremony was presided over by Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth and included remarks by Fisher House Foundation President David A. Coker. 

The Charlotte Hornets Foundation announced last night it has donated $100,000 to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation – a national nonprofit that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty – as its annual Military Grant. The donation will help provide scholarship funding and assistance to six deserving students as they pursue their undergraduate studies at North Carolina universities.

An American flag, first flown by the U.S. military in combat, began its more than 14,000 mile "Rolling Remembrance" relay via air and road to help raise awareness of, and funds for, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, an organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

Thirteen proved to be a lucky number for Children of Fallen Patriots as the non-profit announced it raised over 2.5 million dollars in donations during its annual Greenwich Gala. This year's Gala recognized the organization's 20th year serving Gold Star families and hosted more than 500 individuals for an evening of patriotic generosity, raising funds to further the charity's mission of providing scholarships and educational counseling to children who lost a parent serving in the armed forces.

David Kim, Co-Founder and CEO of Children of Fallen Patriots, was honored on July 12 as the 2022 Veteran of the Year, an award of distinction given by the Military Times Foundation recognizing the recipients' pride, dedication and courage beyond their call of duty. Kim joins five other distinguished service members from each military branch for this year's awards ceremony, which took place at the Ronald Reagan Building in Arlington, VA.

Children of Fallen Patriots collected over $2.9 million in donations from hundreds of supporters during its 2nd annual New York City Gala. The fundraising Gala returned after a two-year hiatus, receiving generous support for the charity's mission to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
