Tell us about yourselves. Tell us about your school. Tell us about what you want to do with your life. Tell us about the family member that you lost. Tell us how CFPF can help you most. We welcome your input of all kinds.

Dear Friends at CFPF,
The days are cooler and schools and colleges are back in session, which everyday reminds of the importance of education to so many young adults and their families. On behalf of Savannnah and the rest of our family, I want to say thank you to you and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation for your untiring work and generosity in helping to finance Savannah’s undergraduate years at the University of Iowa.
We’ve had a wonderfully eventful summer beginning with Savannah’s graduation from the U Iowa (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna cum laude, honors in Art History, honors in Religious Studies, minor in Spanish). In July Savannah got married and moved to Chicago where she has begun graduate school in Art History at the U-Illinois at Chicago and where Fred is employed in Continuing Education. It is so reassuring to see Savannah and Fred confidently step into this new chapter of their lives, and we are truly appreciative of what CFPF did to ease the financial burdens of Savannah’s education. I’ve enclosed photos of graduation – the wedding.
My son, Nathan, is a high school senior. Like his sister, he is very bright and a true joy to be around. We have been visiting universities in the Midwest, where he plans on majoring in physics or chemistry. We are looking forward to an eventful senior year as he readies himself for his college years, and I look forward to helping him select what university will shape his life in the years after high school.
Again, there are hardly words big enough to express our thanks.
Sincerely,
Oliva and Nathan
Savannah and Fred

“Please accept our sincere gratitude in helping us cover the cost of Maria’s fall 2008 tuition. Please “Thank” everyone involved for us. It has been a stress-free, worry-free transition for Maria. I am at ease talking with her, as she integrates into college life. I have not had to worry about her fall financial obligation.
Maria is one of the hardest working young persons I know. She will not take advantage of this opportunity that has been given to her. I’ve enclosed a picture of Maria along with her fall schedule. Currently, she’s involved with the Rangers Club, Path Finders and Color Guard. She told me last week the Purdue and school is ‘everything I thought it would be!’

Dear Children of Fallen Patriots:
It has been a pleasure to work with you and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The financial support provided to students for higher educational needs is a great opportunity. At Gordon College, we realize the support you are providing is very beneficial to our students.
In January 2009, you contacted me about helping one of our students in need, you expressed the foundation would be willing to help more students provided they met the guidelines for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The online application process is convenient for students to apply. Thank you for the documentation that was provided for me to get the word out to other students in need.
This semester you provided financial support once again for students in need. For me, it has been a rewarding and heartfelt experience to be able to tell other students about the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. I wished you could have witnessed the excitement and relief in the eyes of the student and mother when I told them about your foundation. I am very pleased with the convenience and speed in which the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation processed the students’ applications and payments to the college.

Dear Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation,
Thank you for the grant money for Sarah’s education at Appalachian State. We wouldn’t know what we would do without your kindness towards our family. Her father was a very smart man and I know that he looks down upon her with great pride in her determination to learn.
Sincerely, Michelle
