The primary mission of GSW is to provide service, support and friendship to the widows and widowers of military personnel who died on active duty or as the result of a service connected cause.
Got Your Back Network connects with military families who have lost a spouse or parent while serving our country. Our goal is to give comfort, answer a special need, offer guidance and bring a brighter day.
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in our Armed Forces. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
The Navy SEAL Warrior Fund is a non-profit organization established to raise funds in support of the families of US Navy SEALs who have died while serving our country, or who are presently serving in harm’s way in trouble spots around the world. Funds go to improve the education, health and wellness of the spouses and children of deceased and active duty SEALs.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund serves United States military personnel experiencing the Invisible Wounds of War: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). When our Servicemen and women return from the battlefield, we help them fight The War Within, by building world-class, advanced treatment centers providing the best TBI and PTS care, enabling them to continue to serve on Active Duty and enjoy a productive life.
The mission of A Soldier's Child (ASC) is to serve the children of fallen active duty military personnel who have given their lives while defending the United States of America. ASC's three points of service are:
To celebrate each ASC recipient birthday until the age of 18.
To sponsor ASC Journey Camp each summer.
To facilitate in college scholarships for qualified ASC children.
The Folded Flag Foundation serves to honor the legacy of and pay tribute to the bravest men and women who have given their lives in defense of our country. Our Mission is to provide scholarships and educational support grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.
At the Gary Sinise Foundation, we serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.
We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
Our mission is to encourage and fund healthy positive activities for the children of fallen firefighters, military and law enforcement. AIR FORCE FAMILIES FOREVER PROGRAM
To link families of fallen Airmen to their Air Force Family promoting Survivor resilience, thereby fostering well-being and connectedness.
Air Force Families Forever (AFFF) is a long-term survivor aftercare program established to provide support to family members of deceased Regular Air Force and Reserve Component Airmen who died in an Active Duty, Inactive Duty for Training (IDT), or Annual Training (AT) status and whose relationship was established prior to the Airman’s death. This includes RegAF, Guard, and Reserve Airmen. Specific procedures have been devised to provide support to eligible Next-of-Kin (NOK) through Airman & Family Readiness Centers (A&FRCs) at installations closest to where the survivor resides.
MARINE CORPS’ LONG TERM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Long Term Assistance Program is a permanent resource for the next of kin, ensuring they receive sustained, quality assistance from the Marine Corps. It was established to provide outreach and assistance to Marine families in need of support with any residual issues generally associated with the receipt of death benefits and entitlements.

Gary Sinise Foundation Snowball Express serves the children of fallen military heroes. In 2017, Snowball Express became an official Gary Sinise Foundation initiative. We are committed to maintaining the wonderful traditions while finding new and exciting ways to serve our families of the fallen.

If you’re a surviving Family member, Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) offers you access to support, information, and services, closest to where you live, when you need it and for as long as you need it.
Survivor Outreach Services is part of the Army Casualty Continuum of Care. It’s designed to provide long-term support to surviving Families of Fallen Soldiers. Our goal is to reassure Survivors that they remain valued members of the Army Family.

The Coast Guard Gold Star Program is the Coast Guard's official program for providing long-term support to surviving families of Coast Guard members who die while Active Duty.
NAVY GOLD STAR PROGRAM
Navy Gold Star is the Navy’s official program for providing long-term support to surviving families of Sailors who pass while on Active Duty.
Navy Gold Star is an inclusive program – regardless of your loved one’s military branch, location, or manner of death. Our commitment to you is that regardless of the branch of service, we will provide you with support and help you locate your branch’s survivor services. Navy Gold Star support coordinators provide dedicated outreach and support when, and for as long as, you desire. Our coordinators are located all over the United States and are ready to help you in any way they can.
