John is Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Managing Director in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and is head of Corporate Lending for the Americas.  Prior to Credit Suisse, John worked in leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs and also practiced as an attorney at Ropes & Gray.  John also serves on the Board of Directors for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.  John holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Cornell University.  He served five years in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer and left with the rank of Captain.
