In 2015, Citi’s e for education campaign became a pivotal part in the growth of Children of Fallen Patriots’ mission. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this transformative program. Reflecting on the past ten years, it serves as a reminder that true impact is born from shared purpose. CFP is proud to have reached this milestone alongside Citi and looks forward to continuing collaboration side by side. 

Citi’s e for education is a global initiative that transforms financial markets into engines of educational equity. With Citi’s support, CFP has scaled programming to meet the evolving needs of scholars, offering not only financial assistance for higher education, but also career development, coaching, and networking opportunities. These resources have empowered students to pursue their academic and professional goals with confidence and clarity. 

Together, CFP and Citi have hosted eight Career Symposiums, empowering over 140 scholars. These events have created meaningful moments of connection, where children of fallen service members meet peers with shared experiences. Each symposium is more than an event, it’s a stepping stone toward real-world opportunities. In 2024, Citi-sponsored scholars from public and private colleges in 26 states were enrolled in a wide variety of academic programs, ranging from aviation and engineering to psychology and digital film. 

Thanks to Citi’s support, CFP has been able to grow and reach more students than ever before. The Fallen Patriots team extends its heartfelt appreciation to Wyatt Flores, Flavio Figueiredo, Nadia Arafa, Carolyne Crichlow, and the entire team at Citi. By teaming up with organizations like Citi, they are closing the education gap and empowering the next generation of learners.
