Our New Partner - A Soldier's Child
Recently, we had the honor of partnering with the organization A Soldier’s Child. We'd like to share with you a letter from ASC.
Dear Fallen Patriots Families,
We welcome you to our ASC family! Our mission at A Soldier’s Child (ASC) Foundation is to continue to stand beside you and your family in honor of your lost loved one. Please go to www.asoldierschild.org to sign up your children with ASC.
Here are a few things to expect:
Birthdays: About 2 months before your child's birthday, you will get an email asking you to verify/update your address as well as your child's Gift Interview Form (GIF). All of that information can be found through logging into our website. If your address is the same, then no changes need to be made.
Journey Camp: Every June we host a summer camp in Nashville, TN. We invite ASC recipients ages 10-16. In the spring, emails will start going out with further information.
Hunting & Fishing Trips: In the fall, we host a handful of different hunting & fishing trips in Tennessee. Safety courses are offered beforehand and these trips are wonderful weekends filled with bonding, mentoring and fun memories. As dates and details are set, information will be sent out. We are in the process of trying to branch out to other states for Journey camp, and our hunting and fishing programs.
College Scholarships: We have partnered with The Children of Fallen Patriots (CFPF) Organization. This organization is beyond amazing! Our collaboration with CFPF provides a homerun of services that we offer together as partners in serving our American hero families.
Here at ASC, we are always busy! The best way to stay up to date with all of our adventures is to "like" our Facebook page. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact myself or my Administrative Assistant michelle@asoldierschild.org We are here for you and happy to answer any questions you might have. Lastly, feel free to pass our web site onto other Gold Star families. www.asoldierschild.org
