Partner Spotlight: IHOP

Leading up to Veteran’s Day, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is proud to announce that IHOP is making it possible for more surviving scholars to attend college affordably.  From November 2nd through the 11th, participating IHOP restaurants are asking its patrons to help scholars pursue their dreams of a college education by rounding up their checks and donating the difference to military families who’ve paid the ultimate price.

Participating IHOP restaurants are supporting Fallen Patriots by asking guests to donate to surviving scholars either on-check or by purchasing a $1 or $5 wall tag. Guests who purchase a wall tag will receive a bounce back coupon in the same amount to be used during a future visit at a participating IHOP location. All proceeds from on-check and wall tag sales will go directly to children of the fallen.

“Children of Fallen Patriots is an exceptional organization dedicated to ensuring that military sons and daughters do not miss out on a college education after losing a parent in the line of duty,” said Darren Rebelez, President of IHOP and Fallen Patriots Board Member. “I am proud that leading up to Veterans Day, IHOP, our franchisees and our guests can help honor the legacy of the heroes that sacrificed so much by supporting their families and children.”

Fallen Patriots is changing the lives of those left behind in the most positive way, allowing children to achieve a career path that they desire through a college education. With the support of partners like IHOP along with every individual contribution, we can continue to increase funds for the families we support and make a deep-rooted difference that lasts a lifetime.

In honor of those who have risked their lives so that we may continue to live in freedom, IHOP will graciously continue its free Red, White and Blue Pancake offer for retired and active duty military on Veteran’s Day.
