THE ANNUAL RED, WHITE & BLUE GALA
Mar 23, 2016
The second annual Red, White & Blue Gala was a remarkable success, raising over $250,000 for Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Hosted by the New York-based Junior Board, the Gala featured a night of great food, drinks and dancing. All proceeds will help ensure a future college education for military children who lost a parent in the line of duty.
The Gala drew three hundred of New York City’s socially conscious millennials together with philanthropic Fortune 500 companies and avant-garde businesses to support the children of military men and women who have selflessly made the ultimate sacrifice.
“I am overwhelmed by the desire expressed by so many young professionals at the Gala to get involved in our mission,” explains Kendra Davenport, president of Fallen Patriots. “This kind of support is so encouraging and will help us to raise awareness for our mission.”
All of those who attended the Red, White & Blue Gala made an instrumental investment in Gold Star military scholars’ lives. Exceptional donors include, but aren’t limited to Art & Pamela Sanders, Jay Bernstein, Jon Rosen and The Lucas Group. Every donation brings Fallen Patriots closer to bridging the gap in the cost of college education for military children.
Fallen Patriots sends our sincerest thanks, once again, to event sponsors: Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, Lululemon, Iron Mountain Inc., NY Giants, Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., PriceWaterHouse Cooper and Skadden. Their dedication to help us fulfill our mission has been inspiring, and it is our sincere hope that it will continue to be shared with such accomplishment.
