ENROLLING SURVIVING CHILDREN ACROSS THE NATION
Jul 26, 2016
Fallen Patriots has consistently maintained a vision of leaving no family behind. With a mission to provide scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, we continuously strive to work towards ensuring no surviving child is left behind.
These children all deserve to be recognized and have access to an affordable college education. With the help of our loyal partners and dedicated donors, we are able to keep carrying out our mission.
Through our Enrollment Program, scholars are recognized and can receive the help they need in order to make their dreams of getting a college education come true.
David Lambert’s father passed away from larynx cancer as a result of inhaling Agent Orange, the chemical sprayed by the military in order to clear brush from the beaches of Vietnam before the troops landed. Though David was only four years old when his father passed, he has heard countless anecdotes from his mother and older siblings, each detailing how honest and generous his father was.
As a result of enrolling in our program, David is able to receive higher education from Patrick Henry College in Virginia, successfully fulfilling what his father would have wanted for him.
“The Scholarship from Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation has made it possible for me to attend college debt free so far, which is a huge blessing and has enabled me to help others in greater capacities,” David says. “I am thankful beyond words for the help the Foundation has given me. There have been times when I have just been blown away at how generous the people who donate to the Foundation are and how much of a blessing the donors have been to me.”
