#WhyWeServe: Alexandria W.
Alexandria W.’s dad, Brett W., was killed in action when she was only 12 years old. Although a piece of her family is missing, she knows her dad would want her to live each day to the fullest with pure happiness.
Alexandria has taken each step in life for herself but with the thought of her dad in the back of her mind. Her dad is a hero and will forever be her hero. She believes her dad would be proud that she pushed herself through the difficult times and has enjoyed the easy times.
With the help of Fallen Patriots, Alexandria recently graduated from YTI Career Institute and is now a Veterinary Technician. In the future, she hopes to further her education and receive her master’s degree.
A college education is not only crucial for success today, but also an opportunity for students to learn valuable life lessons they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Fallen Patriots strives to be an influential part of surviving scholars’ entire college journey and beyond.
“Children of the Fallen Patriots Foundation has been an amazing help to me not only financially, but they gave me the opportunity to pursue my dream career that I know would have made my dad proud,” explained Alexandria. “I was able to accomplish more than I thought due to not having the financial worries.”
Providing education is one of the best ways we can honor those who died defending our country. Join Fallen Patriots and honor their sacrifice by supporting their legacy.
