Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation will benefit from the e for Education campaign initiated and launched by Citi. This global initiative, which has raised over $16 million for education focused charities, will help Fallen Patriots send military children who’ve lost a parent in the line of duty to college. Citi FXLM will donate $1 for every $1 million of FX traded on their eCommerce venues from September 11th through November 17th.

Citi, one of the largest FX providers in the world, will donate funds to seven charities spanning a range of geographies and core focus areas that strive to facilitate equal access to education globally. The ten-week charity campaign stretches across Citi’s offices in the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Students like Paige Garber have experienced a difficult journey to reach a feeling of financial comfort. Her father, Jeffery Garber, passed away from a massive heart attack while deployed. Granting Paige a college education is one of the best ways Fallen Patriots honored her father’s sacrifice. With the backing from Citi’s e for Education campaign we can continue to ensure surviving scholars, like Paige, have a chance to make their dreams a reality.

“Because of his sacrifice, he changed lives,” explained Paige. “It is because of the impact that he made in the lives of others that his sacrifice will always inspire me to serve and love others unconditionally, just like he did.”

Citi’s e for Education campaign has contributed to the support of college fees for over 900 children of Fallen Patriots in the United States, and the campaign will help the growing demands on Fallen Patriots to ensure access to education by college-bound children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
