Leading up to College Signing Day, celebrated on May 5th, is a time we pause and reflect on what an honor it is to bean instrumental part of surviving scholars’ lives.
Jessica Rosenow’s dad, Mark Coleman, served in the U.S Army and sadly passed from an IED. Despite the daily struggle of missing a parent, Jessica believes it’s important to try every day to be the person her dad would want her to be.
The red poppy flower has remained a constant symbol of death, life and remembrance since World War I. Serving as a representation of remembrance, the flower encourages us to honor those who have passed away to protect all that we love.
