Student Spotlight: Daniel B.

Daniel was 12 years old when his father died overseas. “When I lost my father, I gained a new family through Fallen Patriots, and what a blessing they have been to me through tough times," Daniel said.

Sarah Moehling is the daughter of fallen U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2, Timothy Moehling. When Sarah was just three years old her father died in a training accident while deployed.

Kylie Owen Willis is the daughter of fallen U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Kirk Owen.  She was fifteen years old when he died while deployed in Afghanistan.

Johannah Bordelon is the daughter of U.S. Army First Sergeant Michael Bordelon.  He lost his life on May 10, 2005 when a roadside bomb detonated during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Son of Fallen Patriot Shares his Deployment Story

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Lonnie J. Parson died in 2005 when an IED hit his vehicle while on tour in Iraq.  His son Lance was 16 years old at the time and says “my father’s sacrifice has meant more to me with each passing year that I mature.  He laid down his life for his beliefs and his family.”
