The Clark Foundation will sunset in 2025 and is laying the groundwork for its mission to live on long after its close.

Position Responsibilities

The intern will work with the Operations team to support the Foundation’s communications, grant monitoring and performance measurement efforts. Primary responsibilities include:

Communications

• Sort, name, and archive grantee photos and articles on the Foundation’s shared drive and online database

• Develop and implement a naming system for the Foundation’s communications files for use in Legacy Project materials

• Inventory and identify gaps in the Foundation’s photo archive

• Advise Clark team on archival best practices for organizations who are shutting down

• Perform an audit for consistency across Clark Scholars Program websites

Desired Qualifications

• Current or recent graduate student in the field of library and information science (MLIS), particularly in the archives & preservation focus area

• Interest in foundation and nonprofit communications

• Comfort working with Excel and online systems

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Professionalism and high attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information effectively

Position Details

• Immediate start date through August 31, 2023 (flexible)

• Preferred commitment is 15 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, and 32 to 40 hours per week during the summer

• In-office position with the possibility for occasional telework

• Internship will be compensated at $30/hour; Metro SmartBenefits subsidy is available
