Victory Casino Cruises Launches Play it Forward!

September 19th Cruise to Benefit the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Victory Casino Cruises (VCC) is proud to announce the launch of Play it Forward, a philanthropic program developed to give back to the local community and its many worthy causes. The program enables VCC to raise awareness and monies for designated local charitable organizations on a monthly basis.

During the month of September, VCC will partner with the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (CFPF), a group that provides college scholarships, supplemental grants, and educational counseling for military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

“We are excited to bring a program to the community that will promote the great organizations in the area,” said Lester Bullock, CEO for Victory Casino Cruises. “We have always given back to the communities that we operate in, and this new program gives us the opportunity to benefit one unique and worthy local group each month. Upon learning of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, we knew they would be a great fit for this program.”

For each guest aboard the Victory II on September 19, 2014 at 7 p.m., VCC will donate $5 to CFPF. For a sold-out cruise, that equates to up to $3,000.

“We are so honored to have the opportunity to help the thousands of children who are in need after losing a parent,” said Eric Heineman, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. “Our scholarships and financial assistance has helped many bright, motivated students attend and graduate from some of the top universities in the country. It is programs like Victory’s Play It Forward that allows us to continue our support and raise awareness in our community.”
