Colleen O’Hare is running in honor of children whose parents have died in battle

Good Morning Washington

WASHINGTON — Colleen O'Hare's husband, Raymond O'Hare, died while he was a student in the US Navy's Test Pilot School when a T-38 Talon training jet crashed in 2000. He left behind three children, the youngest was only 10 months old. Colleen will be one of 30,000 runners to toe the starting line of the Marine Corps Marathon while also supporting the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Like many others who run the race for a purpose greater than their finish time, Colleen will be running in honor of her late husband and to invest in the futures of children whose parents have died in battle.
