Adventure Landing fundraiser includes free mini-golf game, aims to help military families
The Buffalo News - Buffalo, NY
Adventure Landing will participate throughout this month in the third annual Foreverlawn’s Putt For The Fallen, a nationwide effort of Family Entertainment Centers.
During September, guests of participating FEC facilities – including the Town of Tonawanda mini-golf course at 2400 Sheridan Drive – will have the opportunity to donate $1, $3 or $5 in exchange for a paper golf ball. Donors will receive recognition by writing their names on the ball and will receive a free round of mini-golf with the purchase of a round, for their next visit.
Money raised will directly benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships and long-term educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. More than $50,000 has been donated to Fallen Patriots as a result of the 2014 and 2015 Putt For The Fallen fundraising efforts.
“We are so excited to participate in this event again – this will be our third year and we get more excited each year to be a part of this awesome campaign,” said Natalie Dunlap, vice president of marketing for Adventure Holdings. For more information visit adventurelanding.com.
