A San Diego man pedaling his way across the country for a great cause has arrived in Columbus.
Ryan Gehris, an advocate for Gold Star Families, is riding his bike 3,000 miles across the United States to raise money for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
He said this journey began in April and it's been tough but so worth it.
"This is a walk in the park compared to what our men and women go through in their services for our country," he said.
Gehris decided to ride in honor of his grandfather, who died in the Vietnam War.
