Arlington, VA, April 18, 2022 – On Wednesday, July 12, 2022, Military Charity Organization will recognize winners of the 2022 Service Members of the Year Awards at a special event in Washington D.C. The event will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building, have an invite-only guest list, and include a celebratory dinner. Members of Congress as well as senior Pentagon and military officials will be in attendance. Kyra Phillips, Investigative Correspondent at ABC News will MC the event. This year’s honorees are as follows:
2022 Soldier of the Year: Maj. Nicholas Dockery
2022 Marine of the Year: Maj. Cory T. Jones
2022 Sailor of the Year: AWS1 Cale Foy
2022 Airman of the Year: SSgt Duncan Copley
2022 Coast Guardsman of the Year: AST2 Joshua Carlson
2022 Veteran of the Year: David Y. Kim
