IHOP aims to contribute $1 million in college scholarships to the children of servicemen and women that have passed away in the line of duty.

IHOP aims to raise $1 million today from its short stack sales-an amount that'd be huge for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Since 2002, Fallen Patriots has provided over $29 million in total assistance to over 1,417 children.

IHOP on Tuesday, May 21, is offering pancakes for $1 to help raise money that will go to fund college educations for the children of fallen patriots.

Today, as Memorial Day approaches, IHOP is giving you an opportunity to help the families of fallen service members while also enjoying some pancakes.

IHOP is serving up $1 short stack Buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday, and all proceeds will be donated to the families of fallen soldiers as part of Military Appreciation Month.
