The Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation have partnered together to offer Gold Star students the opportunity to learn about the world of business while also receiving a Behind-The-Scenes NFL and MLS Experience.
The two day-long Career Symposium will include:
Interactive Q&A panel comprised of NFL and MLS staff members from a variety of professional backgrounds representing different departments within each team
Franchisee representatives will share insights into day-to-day operations as well as professional experiences
Opportunity to learn what it takes to work in the sports industry
Tour of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC training facilities
Tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, host of Super Bowl LIII
On-field experience
Player meet-and-greet
Networking
WHERE: Atlanta, GA
WHEN: Sunday, March 15 - Wednesday, March 18 (Sunday and Wednesday are travel days)
ELIGIBILITY: College students and recent college graduates who have lost a parent in the line of duty are eligible to apply.
TRAVEL: Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation will provide a travel stipend of $500 to cover each student’s travel costs. We will also provide hotel accommodations for all participants.
