Lily Long
Development Officer
Lily Long joins Fallen Patriots as the Foundation and Event Development Officer. She is an Army Veteran and Military Spouse. She was commissioned into the Army Signal Corps as a Second Lieutenant in 2014 and separated as a Captain in 2020 after completing her key development time with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade. Following her military career, she served as Chief of Staff to the CEO where she drove business process and development for a high-growth startup. Lily is married to Army Captain Matt Long, who is in a program to become a JAG Officer.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Lily graduated Valedictorian of her high school graduating class and received an Army ROTC scholarship. She attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Liberal Studies, a hybrid degree consisting of Mandarin Chinese, Military Science, and Intelligence and Security Studies. Lily and Matt have a son, Alder, born in July 2022, and two rescue dogs, Don Henley and Arwen. They currently reside in Colorado.
