In remembrance of military members who’ve lost their lives while serving the United States and in honor of the surviving families, K&N Engineering donated $100,000 to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots). Along with the help of partners like K&N Engineering, Fallen Patriots is changing the lives of those left behind in the most positive way, allowing children to achieve a career path that they desire through a college education.

With the average college cost gap totaling $32,000, the need for financial support is significant. Partners continued dedication, in ways ranging from financial support to creating awareness, has helped Fallen Patriots continue to fulfil their mission to ensure a future for surviving military children.

K&N Filters Supports Children of Fallen Patriots

K&N is the world’s leading manufacturer of washable performance air filters and air intake systems. Chairman of Children of Fallen Patriots Board of Directors, Tom McGann, is the Chief Executive Officer at K&N Engineering in Riverside, California. Tom brings over 30 years of operating experience in the performance-driven consumer brand sector. McGann’s dedication to serve as a guardian of Fallen Patriots mission will ensure that outreach continues to grow.

K&N Engineering will help the growing demands on Fallen Patriots to ensure access to education by college-bound children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.  In a study conducted by The Lucas Group in 2014, of those that have lost an active duty family member, 63% earn less than $50,000 in annual income and 60% have trouble making ends meet.

The success of Fallen Patriots can be told by countless surviving scholars, but the need for financial support continues to grow. Nearly 25,000 children from all across America are still in need of future assistance. Fallen Patriots continues to work to honor those who are no longer with us by giving to those they left behind.
