On May 16th, the flag arrived at the Lima facility and was handed over to transport driver and veteran Lucas Dietz. Lucas served in the Navy for four years and has been with PepsiCo for 11 years. An event was then held for the manufacturing, warehouse and sales teams. During the event, Mike O’Brien and Tom Sullivan of Pepsi Beverages Co. addressed the crowd and thanked them for raising over $4,300 for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
The 4th annual PepsiCo Rolling Remembrance relay made a stop in Johnstown on Thursday, to honor fallen heroes and their families.
Today, we’re finding inspiration in the Royal Wedding. Ahead of their weekend nuptials, Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Marckle asked excited spectators to share in their special moment by supporting one of seven charities the couple selected based on their interests and passions. For those of us watching the wedding on this side of the Pond, we created a list of highly-rated charities working on similar issues in the United States.
Pepsi's Rolling Remembrance campaign will make a stop in Wytheville today. The relay is done each year to help bring awareness of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The foundation gives scholarships to children of deceased veterans. The Rolling Remembrance started its 8,000 mile journey in Seattle and will finish later this month in New York. Last year, more than $200,000 was raised.
The focus of the relay is to raise funds for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, which provides scholarships for children left behind by troops killed in the line of duty.
