Christopher C. is the son of U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Stephen C. Christopher is a sophomore at the University of Arizona where he is studying Public Health. When asked why he chose his major, he explains that his mother and sister who both work in healthcare inspired him to pursue a career in Public Health. During his free time, Christopher volunteers at this local medical center where he transports visitors.
Christopher explains his father as thoughtful and a good role model for him and his sister. When asked what his father's service means to him, Christopher says, “My father’s military service allows me to hold a different kind of pride and thanks toward him and all other military service members.”
With the help of Children of Fallen Patriots, Christopher will graduate debt-free from the University of Arizona in 2024. “Fallen Patriots has benefitted me by allowing me the freedom of focusing on school and not prioritizing work over my education.”
There are approximately 25,000 children who have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. The vision of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to ensure that every such child receives all necessary college funding.
